Transformative Learning

Throughout this class I have learned a lot. I have learned how to advocate for other species and find solutions for the issues on our planet. I now think differently about the animals on our planet. I realize that they add more than just beauty, they give our planet diversity and add cognitive abilities to our society. I have learned that there are many animals that need our advocacy. I am learning to be an activist. Not only do the humans on our planet deserve voices within our government, but so do animals. We all are living beings that deserve safety and kindness. Looking back at this class I will remember the love that I have for animals like wolves and how strong it makes me feel to advocate for their lives. Before this class I did not know how to use twitter or Wix. This class has helped me learn how to access and use technology to my own benefit. I do find that I had some overwhelming issues through this class. I had trouble scheduling every single assignment into my week. I attempted to use my time to schedule only the most important assignment, but I still felt as if I had no time to do the assignments I needed to get done. Furthermore, I had a lot of difficulties figuring out how to use the technology we had to for this class. Wix is honestly an extremely confusing site in my opinion and I did not enjoy using it. I found that I was constantly getting upset with myself because I did assignments wrong due to the fact that I had no idea how to make Wix do the things the assignment asked for. I have now learned a lot more about scheduling my time within an asynchronous class. I have advanced within my technological skills, but still find that I need to continue working on them. In the future I think I need to set a specific schedule for myself to follow. I believe I also need to research things beforehand. I often try to find the easy way out of things and do not take the time to first make a plan of action that will help me best succeed.
